My interest in Garden design comes from a love for plants and landscapes.
I retrained at Capel Manor College and graduated with a Diploma in Garden Design. At the same time, wanting to improve my plants and horticulture knowledge, I studied for a Certificate in Horticulture (RHS) and volunteered in the gardens of Hampton Court Palace.
Now I enjoy designing gardens in South-West London and beyond. Working closely with my clients we develop a clear brief that will result in a garden tailored to their space, aspirations and budget. I look at the space, the house and its location to draw inspiration for a garden and planting scheme that work well in its surrounding. My design skills are complemented by my knowledge of plants and my hands on gardening experience, and I have a particular focus on sustainability and designing with wildlife in mind.
Keeping up to date with the developments of my profession is essential to my practice and being a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers and Member of the Capel Manor Alumni Group allow plenty of opportunities for professional development.
